Knipex side cutters or C.K vde combi cutters 3

Need a new side cutters!

Currently have a ck combi cutters 2 and it's very good,
It's blown to bits though,

I don't know wether to go for the knipex or upgrade.

HELP ME DECIDE!!!!!

cant beat knipex 160mm shears

i cut everything upto 35mm with them

they say 15mm on then but they will happily cut 25mm all day

I use the same shears for cutting (after proving cable dead) and CK combicut 2 for stripping.

Tbh my snips are 160mm knipex high leverage type un insulated and can't bost them enough

These? I can't see you're photo look good only 2 quid difference between insulated and un insulated on eBay can I ask wot dip you cough up for them ?

I just need a pair now , the good quality of my side cutters witch are also knipex would make me stick with them . Although I found a set of knipex side cutters the yellow and red ones they looked pretty good condition but I thought they were awful at cutting wire

the new ones are not as good.

my mentor has a new pair and an old pair.

the old pair is really old and still sharper than the brand new pair.

i think there quality control must have gone downhill because the quality is random

I have these, a pair of their piano wire cutters and a pair of the side cutters all awesome and lasted.

Nice one HT , only ever done it in coleg and am2 loved working on stuff I remember most of Coleg prac was with micc for bizarre reason. The lads used to ask me to make there's as they couldn't get hang of it suited me fine I enjoyed it( that's probably even more bizarre )

Wot kind of installation ? Petro chem ?, because around me the only micc installation work is in castles and the old stately homes so I've heard. would love to have a crack at it would need to be tought how to run and dress the cable 1st though
