I just ordered one on Amazon. I would love powerful dykes for all sorts of tasks! I really do not understand the power button through? Why can't it always be in "power mode"? What reason would anyone have to downgrade the strength unless you are not trying to cut all the way through something.

You definitely cant whack a powerful dyke or two like!

Yeah I've had some for a few months . I normally use the standard 200mm high leverage version . They are better than the standard 160mm & 180 side cutters . They seem to cut around the same as my 200 mm ones and being much smaller so they are now my carry every day cutters.

im using the 160mm for day to do use. biggest ive used this set on is 6mm twin, 200mm are bigger than i like to carry around, i have 160mm and 200mm shears for bigger cable

(the knipex 160mm non-vde shears are tiny)

wiha make two versions of there vde cutters. normal (industrial) and dynajoint (professional series)

the bottom ones are a lot sharper

i cant see any difference really between these and the normal ones

Without getting into trouble with the mods on here you need to try them for yourself to see how they compare to our entry level 70 series.

I see you are based in Castle Donington, which is only a very short hop from me; if you want to meet and try a pair out then let me know.

You don't need to walk on eggshells, you're welcome to answer any product questions in a factual way. You have full member permissions so you can attach data sheets and informative images etc as long as they're within the filesize limits of the attachment system and relevant to the queries being made and the products being discussed.

As long as you can avoid blatant or gratuitous advertising there won't be a problem. I'd prefer if you could avoid outbound links to your website but you can also dropbox info and link to it if it's relevant to a discussion about your products.
