It's for use in the office, I print off a laser printer in strips that fit the Hager panel the software is called "Semiolog" very neat, but you need to know the details of the panel to get the correct format, you can also use/print the Hager standard colour labels for the MCB's, make's one look very professional don't you know.

I just measured the width of mcb/rcd etc, allowed overlap of 1 or 2mm. Then entered the details into the parameters of the software. Jobs a good en. To be fair, I think you'll find all these printers are just rebadged products, which includes the software.

When I said "details of the panel" I should have said model No as in "Hager Delta" thought my original "details" description could be miss-interpreted as layout.

Whichever printer you use remember to set the margin as narrow as possible, otherwise you waste half your expensive label tape in blank space.

On the Brother software the label sometimes appears on the screen with a double boarder, it is best to delete this as it restricts the size of print on the label, also the centre space called the cable size does not seem to bear any relation to diameter, 4mm is enough label to wrap around three 2.5mm cable's

Anyone willing to take a punt on the above cartridges, 50:50, I will buy then and send them on to anyone willing, five cartridges for just over ÂŁ16.05 plus postage to you, can't be bad, PM me if interested.

Anyone used the cheap China imported labels, I just don't see how they can do ten cartridges of heat shrink tube for ÂŁ32.11 compared to the UK market price of between ÂŁ6 to ÂŁ8: Tubing Tape Heat Shrink Tube Brother P-Touch Label Maker Shrinkable SLEEVING | eBay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tubing-Tape-Heat-Shrink-Tube-Brother-P-Touch-Label-Maker-Shrinkable-SLEEVING/254526447999?epid=2264555828&hash=item3b42f5617f:m:miTYo-L9QrqiU-MV59S51-Q

Anyone used them?
Not tried the heat shrink, but the label cartridges now are of a quality quite similar to the official Brother ones.

Why not just buy 5 catridges from that seller for ÂŁ16.05 delivered?

Anyone know the shrink ratio on these, also is the size on the flat or the dia? Found this on the web: This genuine Brother 5.8mm HSe-211 heat shrink tube tape is designed specifically for permanently marking and identifying cables and wires. With a shrink ratio of 2:1, the HSe-211 black on white tape is recommended for use with cables between 1.7mm and 3.2mm in diameter.

I did use a hot air gun very carefully (one used to strip paint), till it broke of old age.

I did get one of those or something very similar. Couldn't work out how to get the gas in.

Got one of these, if you have the heat right down and careful. Plus you can do a Crème brûlée.

I have one of those as well, but the lack of flame control gives me the shivers, the mini I posted the link too has a fitting that should control the flame/heat a bit better, ah well I have persuaded myself and hit the button, will post if it's any good, but wont if I have wasted my money and made a fool of myself, again. LOL

Ohh Crème brûlée I feel a cook in coming on.
