P

Penance

Is it preferable to label cables in a CU?
Also if it is, what would an assessor want to see in this regard?

In normal circumstances I would only label 3 phase circuits and that was if they were all browns, so L1 L2 L3 and the blue N.

If I was doing a board change and extending cables via an adaptable box with din rails and Klippons then for future testing I would label the circuits 1, 2, 3 etc, so that someone would see where they are connected in the box, and the CU. but this again is just something I do.

In a normal CU change or addition that goes straight to the CU then no I would not normally label a cicuit, espicially in adomestic situation.
