I was just looking at these, the idea sounds good, but I'm not sure about the locking pins?


I like the way his body molds into the shape of the ladder!
 
Or the good old straight ladder is very handy if you don't have anything to lean it against.

If it was a serious question, I've had one for years, and totally trust it. To me it's never been anything other than super obvious if it was locked or not.
For getting to a stupidly positioned emergency light over a stair well you can't beat it.

I've had one for years. Probably only use it once every two or three years, but it's invaluable on those occasions. Folds up into a compact size for storage and inevitably gets buried in a shed.
