Latest FiT tariffs

OFGEM have published these today - covering 8th Feb to 31st March 2016.

It had slipped by me in all the double-shuffling that went on but the 10-50 kW band tariff is now higher than the 0-10 kW band.

Export tariff now 4.91p - increased from 4.85p. Whoopie-doo!

Why did that happen, Ted? I thought RPI increases came in on 1st April annually?

I can't see why that has changed. I've asked OFGEM, but don't hold your breath.

Reply from OFGEM about that 0.06p change in export tariff.

"This was an error".

They have re-published the table with the older, correct 4.85p export figure.

is ofgem actually melting down?

They've not published updated guidance on how the scheme's meant to operate, and haven't responded to a query I made a couple of weeks back about how the EPC requirement is supposed to work for new builds, and we've still got a 100kWp system from last March that hasn't been accredited via RooFit.

Good job we've not sent quotes out with the wrong export figure on it......... oh no wait, we have, because that's what the official document told us it should be.
