What a nightmare..... covered carpet up with my dust sheet (should have used my roll of carpet protector!)

Only had to take out 3 x old R60 eyeball lamps.

I've ended up somehow getting a nice little grey smudge right in the middle of the customers cream carpet - great !!

Rang up local carpet cleaner chap, he reckons that it might not even come out. Lucky I've got some liability insurance.

:stupid:

Marvo, how un PC to say Blackboard, I'm getting in all kinds of trouble on another post. Funny Pic btw!
I'm not sure if you're joking or not Kiers. Is black board really not used anymore? What else could you call it, it's a board and it's black? If it's un-PC please forgive me, the phrase is still widely used in Africa which is kinda ironic.

I have to say that baby wipes are the most effective way of cleaning just about anything - what on earth do they put in them?
I'm guessing the use mothers spit, it's just a more polite way of dispensing it when you're in public. :)

Sounds a bit...well...pointless, I've never heard of a 'chalk board' getting offended. You'll have to bear with me, this PC stuff is way too complicated for me I fear, if I can remember I'll try avoid using the word black in future.

Get the dust sheets with the plastic backing, they're a god send

I had a rewire last year where the woman claimed the 18yr old sons laptop screen had been cracked by us. There was just no way I could see it could have happened, nor could my mate on that job, and we put it down to her slob of a teenage son having knackered it himself and trying to pass the buck on to us. He'd probably piled too many dirty plates on top of it under his bed.

To much ****?

Did you have to pay out

I argued my case and the client went quiet on the issue.

An unemployed guy tried to get ÂŁ100 out of the landlord of a rental property we had worked in, by saying we had trod sillicone into his rug with our boots.

Only problem is we weren't wearing boots and didn't use any sillicone...... halfwit
