Neodymium Magnets are the most powerful rare earth magnets that you can buy,
Would you like to have a guess which is the only country in the world that supplies them because they have put all the others out of business?

is an apple a pear

I know China are mass markerters but on this occasion I dont get it, you can install all day long for free but at a loss whats the point ? for all the reccos you get, to work for nothing again. They cant carry on lossing billions.
they'll have a break even point of --- gadzillion units at current prices, above that point they'll make money again, but just need to take some pain now to build market share and the market size overall to get to that volume level.

alternatively they intend to do the supermarkets trick of keeping prices artificially low until all the competition are forced out of business, then ratcheting them up again and cleaning up afterwards... or I suspect a fair degree of both, as either way they win.

I understand the plan its a bit like our market place at present, people buy on price and china fuels that market.China makes it money buy coping and making it cheaper not giving it away. They have a lot more billions to give away to win this war,I wish them luck.

I am sorry, but you have lost me there.
I was just making a point of what China (oops told you now) have done to the magnet industry, could they do the same with PV? Who knows?

Still with less than 1 install per company per month in the UK does it really matter?

and how many of those small familly owned electrical shops do you see now, those that could fix anything, virtually none, because the likes of Tesco (and us buy buying from them) have driven them all out of business.
In the meantime tesco screw their suppliers on price, then charge us an obscene mark up and make millions.

The idiots in the press say it's a good thing, it empowers the consumer and gives them choice, no it doesn't, because all you end up with is a few big companies screwing everyone except their shareholders. I have no choice, I have to shop at tesco because there is nothing else.
