You must get good discount then because I called Eddies who quoted me ÂŁ31+vat! Haven't got a Denmans near me.

There’s a Denmans just down the road from you on Stafford Park 17 in Telford. You don’t even have to be in on the day of the delivery. Just tell them where to hide the stuff.

Hello Mr Skelton

have you considered the JCCs...? They have a 10 year domestic use guarantee.

Ive fitted about 90 in the last 18 months and only one has failed.

i print the guarantee out so the owner of the light has it.... Then they can get a new one and arrange a price and a time :)

Only if they are registered by batch number and with your installer details on their website - which I do for the client as part of my value add!

Halers or ksr as a cheaper alternative for a complete downlights.
ansell I cage or Nvc if a seperate fitting plus a GE led lamp

Where do you get yours Spartykus I see your local to me?

Ay up eck as like & so on. Where be thee?

buy all mine from Electric Center. Brierley Hill. Ask for Mike or Shaun say Nick sent you ;-) similar price to the good prices above. Every light marked up. Bonus.

Maybe not quite as local as I thought! Shrewsbury if from, just saw Shropshire under your name! Il give electric Center a go though for sure!

I used to fit the arora M10s as standard downlight but the halers are 60 degree and with a fitting/click connector and bezel was within your budget,my local yesss branch sort me out some decent prices, did fit some robus units in my dining room which worked out at ÂŁ20 per fitting and give a decent lumen output in that area.

Hi, First time Post, this seems like the most relevant place to ask.
I'm not new to LED Fire-Rated downlights; I've used the Scolmore Inceptors and the Halers H2's in the past, no problems at all. This time, however, the client has specifically asked that the downlights "don't look like LED's" after some probing, they explained... "all the little yellow spots", i took that to mean the led chips themselves. So they want a "COB" type fitting.
I did a little google work and found this leaves me with 2 or 3 options.
The Aurora M10, the JCC LED6 and this new Ansell Orbio 360 fittings.
I was inclined to go with the Aurora M10, it's a decent brand and i know my dad has used their i9 fittings in the past and said that the connectors are pretty handy (Like the Click Flow ones). But i've been hearing, here and there, of major problems with the M10. Has anyone here used them at all?
I wouldn't mind using the JCC fitting but it doesn't have that plug and play connector. I've heard nothing at all about the Ansell fitting either, seems pretty new and I don't fancy them for this particular job.

so...? Don't be so lazy! They're great. 10 year guarantee for the owner too.:welcome:

@SPARTYKUS You're right! Guess i'm a sucker for a gimmick. I was really looking for a reason not to use the M10's and substantiate these claims that they're unreliable, but i guess it's all hear-say.
Thanks all!
