Really frustrating problem.

Outline of site, domestic flat converted 1995 from Portsmouth Royal Marines barracks. Radial Lighting circuit feeds led chandelier in kitchen that has no issue at all, to sitting room which has 2 chandeliers with a total 16 * 4 watt LED lamps controlled by 150 watt Zano dimmer switch, to the bedroom which has, 2 chandeliers with a total of 10 * 4 watt LED lamps controlled by a plate switch.

Original lamps were all Ledlite bought from TLC controlled by Knightsbridge dimmer switch, after they had been on for a while the lamps would flash but not all together but randomly (think of Xmas tree lights).

Replaced dimmer switch with Click Scolmore which would produce a very slight flicker at certain dimming points and here is the really strange thing, it would also cause the bedroom lights to flicker randomly, but when the SR lights were turned off then the bedroom lights behaved properly.

Changed to Zano dimmer switch but then had the same problem with the bedroom lights, sought advice from Zano who blamed the LED lamps for the problem stating it was white noise? Changed SR lamps for Bell lamps, SR lights worked well with no flicker but again after a while the bedroom lights flickered randomly in no order or uniformity but when the SR lights were turned off then the bedroom lights behaved properly.

Today I went back and changed the bedroom lamps for Bell and I’m now waiting for the dreaded phone call from the client.

If this doesn’t cure the problem I’m unsure what to do next.

Has anyone ever experienced this and if so how did they achieve a satisfactory cure?
