length of pvc conduit run

Its been a while since I last worked with PVC conduit but I seem to remember you had to have an access box every so often. Can anyone remind me of the regs regarding this.

no reg as such but access point every 2 metres will prevent cabling being a chore.
the regs mention clips , saddles and support distances.

Or 3 metres...if there in 3 metre lengths...
