we have all got parents. grandparents, uncles,etc. who were involved in these wars. some died fighting for what they believed, some just because they were ordered to fight and die. the whys and wherefores do not matter. it's a question of respect, remembrance, not the glorification of war, but just remembering those who gave their lives, whether heroes or just victims of politics, they stiil died fighting for freedom, and we WILL remember them.

Nothing to do with the fight against one of the most tyrannical regimes ever to rule a Country then??? Them and their polar opposites of the Communist party of Russia. Scum the lot of them. Fascists/Communists all the same...

to be fair ken,real communism was the peoples party,it was all about the working man and communities sticking together to create a better life for themselves,and a share of the wealth they created,its what we want now..but we dont get ..its not a bad thing.
