hi , im new to the site iv recently just passed my level 2 but found out there only running a level 3 course in september has any one any suggestions as to what / which course to do in the meantime ? im not in the electrical industry (painter and decorator) any advise would be very much appreiciated thanks.

17th edition and part P. email ECS for advise on who to do the courses with to avoid problems getting an ecs card

try and transfer over to the 2357? Wouldn't bother with a Part P course if you've done 2330,

You can get an ECS card anyway irrelevant of Quals, you'd never get a gold one going by going the Part P route though ;o)

PART P IS NOT A COURSE IT'S A SECTION OF THE BUILDING REGS and doing the EAL Domestic Installers Certificate is a waste of time and effort.

I'm doing the 2357 instead of the 2330, it's normally a 2 year course but as you have done the level 2 you should be able to only do it as a 1 year course, it's not that difficult and you will do the AM2 at the end
