Hi
I put a light (5ft high frequency weatherproof batton) in a kebab shop last week
It was approx 2 metre away from the kebab machine that gets very hot, approx 200 degrees.
The light worked fine for 2 hours then it just stopped working. Changed the bulbs and still nothing working. Checked that I was still getting 230v between l - n. Everything looked fine inside and outside the light.
Is it possible that the heat generated from the kebab machine damaged the ballast? I thought that was unlikely, but either it was that or its a dodgy fitting.
Any thoughts appreciated
