Light weight ceiling rose

Hi I'm fitting a couple of these light weight ceiling roses tomorrow?can't ever remember fitting one before but that's not my question .the picture I have looks like the centre piece is very small.does anyone know if these things are made to a certain size standard to accommodate a basic pendant .I would ask customer but he's off shore .its a DIY question I know just wondered if any sparks fit them after a rewire on lathe and plaster etc to hide decor etc did the rewire before Xmas so just going back for a day to fit fancy lights etc
Now that I see it on a larger screen it looks like the pendant would cover the flower motife but then what's the point of that .

I'd hazard a guess there isn't any standard

I dont think it will be. Looks a little too small to me.

If it was designed for a standard pendant rose, that inner bit would be a plain flat circle.

Is it a decorative pendant youre fitting for them? it could be a bigger rose than normal anyway

Thanks will just have to weight and see.ive no link to where it came from only a picture .I'm just hoping the customer dosnt think they'll just be a small hole bored in the middle with flex poking thru lol.seen lots of them before ,customer buys a new class 1 light there wanting fitted and that's what your met with

No just the same bg pendant I put up on rewire .

New house builds (sites) they're usually designed to take a pendant base , the ones i've worked on anyway.

Yeh I can see lots of them online ,I hope it's not one of those roses just to hide an old centre light with maybe wall lights installed instead or downlights maybe there's destructions with it
