Dont get me wrong im not asking you to change your ways or practices just to take it on board that your view regarding this particular issue might not bare the bad practice tag you gave it, and the word misguided concerning your peers does not in any way undermine their qualification, time served, abilities and interlect it was a reference to what seems to be a practice passed down to you of not doubling up has somehow earned itself the tag of been bad practice if you were to do this, so apologise if my post came across to sound otherwise, i myself was in a company for 20 yrs and picked up some routine ways of designing and wiring installations and when i eventually left and saw alternative methods i too questioned the methods of others but purely from a point of that fact ive known no other way but i still do it my way but im now aware of the alternative options are just as good in practice.

Your spot on but old habits do die hard, and what is more I do like the idea that the trade is developing.

But as I mentioned before about fly leads for back boxes, I still do it, if I take a face plate off and there isn't one, I fit one muttering words like cowboys, rough sos and so's, I must be murder to live with
