So if a circuit is really overloaded but has the correct mcb then you don't mention it on EICR ?

No you don't because it's not overloaded. The cable is adequate for the circuit and the OCPD is adequate for protection of the cable.

You should only be issuing a code to an observation on an EICR if it breaches a reg and you can reference that reg.
 
Yet again, I'm caused to call the competence of someone into question, when in fact by very requirement of quals such as 2391, anyone engaging in Inspection and Testing would be expected to have above average experience and knowledge.

Please, someone tell me that it's not just me thinking this, surely??!
