I see at your switch you have terminated the cables outside the enclosure, this is wrong all cables should terminate inside, not just the browns.

Is this another wind up?

why not get an ELECTRICIAN to sort out this for like you should have in the first place.

The problems you are getting should have shown up when dead testing was done (before switching on)

sorry mate but its you first post an will probably you last after someone on here gets you out the S**T

This should be in the DIY thread.

If and I say if the shed is tripping the sockets in the house, you WILL need a competent spark with a MFT and the knowledge and experience to use it.

Do you have certificates for the shed install?

Sounds like a wind up TBH, as Glenn has pointed out looks like there is a 2.5mm radial on that 32amp breaker. To the OP - this is DANGEROUS. Get an electrician in.

I'm out.

well....and this is my last comment on it:

it aint an electrician whoos done that parcel of shyte...

whoever it was may think he is....
but he aint...

Well... the op is reading this thread so hopefully he can upload copies of the certs......

This is my light. Everything is fine here...

Except the whiskers of copper which have a fair chance of shorting together or to the metal lampholder bracket.

And the PVC insulated cables insufficiently sheathed with high temperature sleeving.

And the polythene terminal block, which is likely to melt and isn't needed in the first place.

so come on then cheese & beans...

admit it...
you did this...
then now it doesn`t work as expected you come in here pretending an electrician did it..

GET OUT!!

OP.

Some of the posts may seem harsh and unhelpful, but that installation is very poor and unsafe.

Time to own up if this is a DIY attempt, and employ a qualified electrician to rectify the issues, test and certificate.

Now, now Glenn, let the OP reply, he's still viewing this thread!

Come now Glenn, don't you terminate 3-core flex for lighting directly into all the DBs you install?

he could have paid a Electrical Trainee to install it, glenn. a Electrical Trainee being a diy'er with an o level.

and its ho, ho, ho...

see how the O/P runs...

like they all do when their found out...

see it nearly every day when out...
