Lighting levels for creche

Does anyone know if there is guidance or regulations for a minimum lux level for child care centres such as creches?

I have looked online but nothing specifically mentions creches. The nearest i can get is Classrooms which should be 300 lux.

Help would be very much appeciated.

Try the CIBSE website as they give the minimum lighting levels for other locations on there.

We are normally asked for a minimum average illuminance of 500lux and are given figures for how evenly spread it must be as a ratio of 1.2, when we do childrens nurseries with creche facilities on Canary Wharf.
