lighting levels

Evening guys.

I will be installing some sign lights in a conservation area next month and the local council required the Luminance levels (cd/m). I know this is the illuminance x reflected factor but don’t know how to measure it. Any ideas?

I don’t think it’s a matter of using my light meter in a conventional manner.

Contact the manufacturer and they will be able to send you all the photometric data the council require
