Lightrabbit do not honour their 5 year guarantee claim.


According to their web site, all lights sold by lightrabbit have a blanket 5 year guarantee with no conditions or further action notified on the web.


I have just tried to get replacements for to lights that have failed after just over 2 years (two failures out of 4 lights). And have been told that I should have filled in a form for the 5 year guarantee that was supplied with the lamps (I am confident that in multiple orders from Lightrabbit there has never been a guarantee registration in with the lamps).


Since I have not returned a registration they will not do anything.


Why if EVERY LED light sold has a 5 year guarantee do you need to register products bought with the seller? Surely purchase proves guarantee.

LED Hut have the same arrangement. Which is why I'm less inclined to use them than I was.

Just looked up the Lightrabbit guarantee small print. It is a 2 year guarantee only, with a 5 year warrenty available if purchased by directly by the end users only, so, lights supplied through electricians are only ever guaranteed for two years.
