lights keep blowing

Hello folks plumber here from the sister forum got a problem with the lights in my house

basically they keep blowing, and it tends to happen at night when everything else is off(around 2am) living room light, kitchen light, bathroom light. The fuse board is an old one with fuse wire fuses, that's about as much as i know.

This kind of fault needs an insulation tester and someone who's very capable of using it. It's not the kind of problem you're going to easily sort out without experience I'm afraid. I would certainly stock up on tea and biscuits and tempt your buddy to come around with his tools and testers.
