hi guys

I'm currently Doing a fault find on lights not working.

I got 230v between live and cpc, 230v between live and netural. Am I correct in saying we have a dropped put neutral at some point along the circuit!

Look I'm sorry mate, but your profile shows a qualified electrician. We all need some guidance now and then but this is as basic as it gets.

You have stated you have 2356. This is a very well structured qualification and although it doesn't specially apply to fixed wiring, the method of approach to fault finding (e.g. Unit 302 "Diagnose and correct faults in electrotechnical systems...") is valid for resolving the issue you have. (e.g. "In this unit, faults on electrotechnical systems and equipment may include: overload, earth leakage faults, open circuits, short circuits, high resistance joints, incomplete circuits and oversensitive/ nonperforming protective devices")...

I'd have thought you'd be well qualified to solve this one as well as fully describing the fault and sharing your experiences here...
Just sayin'....
