hi there this is my first post.recently completed an hmo and got pulled up on carbon being linked with the rest of the alarms in flat.no big deal to rectify .just wondering how many other sparks have linked them all together because i always have.i can see the logic in it just never thought about it before.

thanks.easier just to not interconnect .also when installing a several alarms do you normally install a remote switch for customer convienence.also just looked at job for a land lord[he is an auto electrician]and he wants to use radio bases thru out because flat is all plastered and decorated .for the heat in kitchen he wants to use a relay box above ceiling at light fitting and fit a wireless light switch thus turning kitchen light to perminant feed for heat alarm.do you no if anyone has done this before.could be messy trying to hide a relay box inside a light fitting/or some sort of enclosure that would comply with fire break regs.
