went today to take a look at water boiler thats not heating up.
Turned out to be faulty thermostat, simple enough?
But whilst fault finding and doing tests i come across something strange.
the water boiler and heating system are on eco 7 supply so have there own cu. Three breakers, (1) for boiler (2+3) for two wall mounted storage heaters.. one of these wasnt used so was switched off at the fcu. I noticed i was getting live/earth continuity from all three breakers until i switched off the breaker for the unused storage heater. Yet! no breakers have been tripping when the eco 7 comes on??
