C Conan90 Jan 8, 2025 #1 Evening everyone, I had new one today, a live neutral terminal on the connector of a LED emergency bulkhead. This fault repeated on 4 other units. The neutral was being taken from a 4ft fitting next door that a new guy had been messing around with. Any ideas why or how? Cheers

Watch out, one of the floating N cables is likely to be live as well.

mainline Arms Patron Jan 9, 2025 #6 Looks to be a loss of the Neutral, I assume the fitting wasn't working. If you disconnect N from an energised working circuit, you would expect to see voltage on the N connector of the fitting. Leaving hanging conductors like that isn't a good idea either.
