Hi Guys, I`ve got 2 x 3core 6mm SWA cables to run overhead from a Barn to the chimmney of house and the run is 20m.

Never done this before, do you think this can work and how? I`m concerned about the weight

I dread to think where this will end up.
Ross it’s obvious you don’t know what you’re doing, get this wrong and you’ve a house minus it’s chimney to sort out.

Out of interest how do you intend to get the centenary and cables in to place? Hope you’ve got a cherry picker in your van.

Yep cherry picker is nice and snug in van cause I dont fancy using the mobile platform on site and the scafold on the barn end, if the chimmney comes down it wont be a problem, got a mate who`s a brickie`s labourer.

You better hope he knows how to repair roofs too, as there is going to be a gaping hole in it!!! Oh, How about ceiling boards too?? Do you have any idea how much, just the top of a chimney stack weighs?? I don't think you do!!! lol!!!
