Welcome to the forum.

Is it your own home? What 2 way devices do you have?

Cameras would normally be easy to spot, or are you saying someone has fitted hidden ones??

We definitely more than one 15 word sentence I think.

If they have been fitted under the floorboards you will be able to see where the boards have been lifted.

And what about the cameras - where do you think they are?

Have you spoken to the police? What reason did the police say they had for visiting? Why do you think they installed any devices?

The main question I have. And I mean no offence at all with this. Do you have a friend you could talk to about this, and see what they think?

You need more than an electrician. There is more to be dealt with here than just whether there are bugs in your house. You need to discuss this with a friend or work colleague.

Where are the cameras that you mention? How do you know they are there?

An 'normal' electrician will not be able to locate bugs, ie. do a 'sweep'.

They would be able to lift floorboards etc to show you if anything is there, but then anyone could do that.

Again, why do you think there are cameras? And have you spoken to a friend or work colleague about this? You need someone with you to talk to about your concerns.

No am on my own trying to sort this

You need to speak to either a friend, a work colleague or a family member. I don't think you'll be able to progress much otherwise.

Even if you find these devices, you still have other issues to resolve. And the other issues cannot be solved via a forum or an electrician unfortunately.

Because you need to talk about the issues you are having with people breaking into your house and stalking you.

Call an electrician and ask them to check for any equipment which is under the plywood panels on your floor. Don't mention stalking or bugging though or any police involvement.

Take photos of the underfloor area and keep them.

Let us know the outcome.

If someone came in and secretly placed devices under the floor, they wouldn't have removed the skirting board. There wi be boards or panels that can be lifted.

Just tell them you have heard noises under the floor and want it checking out. Keep it vague.

It would depend on the type of bug /camera and how they are wired.

A long term bug/camera would be wired into the mains for power, so an electrician maybe able to find it.

Depending on the way that the bug/camera could be picked up would depend on how the transmission is sent a spectrum analyser would probably see wireless ones, but some listening devices can be very covert using short bursts of data and even detecting sweeping devices.

There are some professional sweepers that look for transistor junctions/ diodes etc.

Call these people, tell them i sent you :)
