Looking for a 20mm bung

Hi,

I am going to fit a 16A outdoor socket next week and am going through the back of it into the wall and need to fill the threaded hole on the top as its not going to be used.

I have tried a couple of wholesalers and nowhere seems to be able to help me.

What I am looking for is a 20mm male threaded plastic nut essentially.

Eddys do 20mm plugs had loads. Might be thought a bit rough but I would fit plug with clear silicone never leak in a million years.

Bad idea! You'll lose your mechanical earthing through the threads.

Can you actually get 16A outlets without a hole in the top? What are the MK ones like? I've only ever fitted them to conduit.

You've got to be kidding, it comes with a compression gland!

Its made by ESR, it might go inside the edge of the garage so the ip rating is not n issue, but would be nice to fill the hole!

Ive got hundreds of those from TLC, I'm looking for something a bit more solid.

I'd add a rubber washer or some silicone sealant if outside.
