hi guys can anyone help i need to know what kind of crimp tools and seals are used by some electric utility companies and were to buy them. thanks

not sure on your location rafshah but a local college or training ctr can advise you. shop around for a good price. do you have any previous quals under your belt? only asking as the 17th if its your first course would not be the one to go for first. send me pm if you need any advice on courses
 
The crimp tools used by most DNO operatives are individually coded, this code is automatically impressed into the seal when crimped. This doesn't mean that any DNO equipment you come across that is missing it's seal(s) should not be temporary sealed by you for safety, using an alternative method. Most DNOs are happy with this providing you inform them prior to adding the temporary seal(s), as this gives them the opportunity to schedule a visit by one of their operatives to check and officially reseal their equipment.

This guy hasn't even done the 17th edition course, doesn't know where to go for it, and for all we know he may not even be a qualified electrician... I am quite frankly shocked that anyone would send him a link for where to buy seals.

I have 236 part 1 and part 2 also 16th edition and have 7 year experience in the industry
