Hi everybody,
tomorrow is my first NAPIT assessment, I have a small problem.
I've changed a consumer unit for this - I had another CU change for this I wanted to carry out, but unfortunate my customer fell seek, so I needed to do the assessment work at other place....

The think is - EDF didn't gave me permission to remove seals - so I had to change the meter tails live as they wanted to remove the seals next Tuesday - my assessment is tomorrow... Now I'm bit concerned what my assessor will say to that? Is it a fail? Should I cut the seals tomorrow morning and deal with EDF after and lie that I did it with main fuse removed - or is it better to say the truth??
Personally I would like to tell the truth, but dont want to fail because of that......
Any advice appreciated
Thanks

I used the old ones, yes I worked live.I didn't liked it - I try to not work live if unnecessary - but in my opinion I had to.
Well I always cut the seals they should provide means of isolation, when I have had NICEIC inspections they have never mentioned about broken seals it what we have got to do.

Thanks - maybe I'm div, but unfortunate the main fuse was sealed as well....

Thanks Tom,
EDF just said that I'm not allowed to cut seal - so they need to cut seal 60 GBP and reseal it - 60 GBP.... 120 - quite a lot. I agree - there should be a isolator- but I don't see them very often.....
