Had a call toady from a new customer 'some of the sockets have stoped working'. so we attend check things out find a lost neutral, after some in depth investigation we pin point an area where there must be a junction point under the floor, remove part of the floor and find the junction, had to cut ceiling down to gain access to it as it was under the bath, just check this lose conection out, looks to me like some one shot it with a 50 cal round???

Limp wrist electrician???

Looking at the charring effect its heat damaged and disintergrated, lucky it wasn't covered in sawdust or anything else that could have caught fire.
Make sure you show the customer and how lucky they are, it makes them appreciate your help and payment usually comes quickly.
 
As you would expect they were looking over are shoulder all the time, i dont mind this as at least they can see the trouble you go to, to find these faults!
 
Hi all.

We need to start a new section for pics like this just to show any potential customers that may be looking around, what can happen when things go wrong, and why they should be happy to pay a little extra for somone who will provide them certs for work done etcetc.
