Hi everyone. Quick question. In which situations would you use LSZH cables over PVC? Fire alarm systems being obvious but any other reasons/regulations of when/where to use? Thanks
 
Mind you LSZH doesn't protect the cable it just reduces smoke so maybe not so obvious for fire alarm systems. Is it just something that the client specifies or contractor may recommend as an additional safety precaution in the event of a fire?
 
Quite a bit ago we had a project in Norway where all the cables had to be LSZH. That doesn't help you out a lot thought, does it.... :)
