Lewden TPN Dist boards. . . . has any one used these boards before. I have just got a quote which seems ridiculously cheap, so I am questioning myself regarding the quality and availability of mcbs, rcbo's etc. . . comments please

Not at all your post mentioned the DB and asked for comments, so I merely asked what was included in the quote.

Check you have been quoted for the number of mcb's etc you have asked for and that they have not given you a price for an individual breaker for you to work out the price for the quantity required. Have been caught out myself in the past with this.

As an endorsement for the brand, we have many Lewden IEC60309 (ceeform) connectors and have always found them to be a very good brand, up there with Mennekes.

Make sure they've quoted for 10KA MCB's as 6KA won't fit...same with RCBO's. They aren't bad boards...if the budget is tight on a job I usually put these lewden TPN boards in.

yep I've there commando plug and sosckets a few time and fine.

If I had the money on the job I'd probably go with Hager or Schneider. . . .. I'll let you know how it goes.

You could also look at the Chint gear if you’re on a tight budget.

Lewden is dead on.

I bought one a few months ago, it was a 4 way.
