Should the MET be the earth point in the CU, with a separate single cable (10mm) run to gas, and electric meter, or could the MET be 8 way earth block on the meter board with a 10mm cable run to consumer unit, and water stop tap.

Should the CU be connected by a 10mm, 16mm, 25mm earth cable on a small domestic supply.

Either scenario is acceptable with regard to position of the MET but the sizing is subject to calculation or selection, depending on the earthing system in use. 542.3.1 and Section 543.

For PME, check 544.1.1 too.
