The soldering iron kits sold in Aldi and Lidl, when available, have solder and braid with them.

Thanks Marvo, This site is where I get all my single cells from (Also LED's, resistors etc when I'm in the mood for some electronics). Component Shop - Batteries, LED, SERVOS, Connectors and leads

Had a misplaced delivery once (they replaced free of charge) so now then send stuff out recorded so the postages charges aren't as good as they used to be.
