massive firm gone just gone bust

Does anyone know the name of the firm who were doing the electrical package on the huge 200 million laboratories project in cambridge? Apparantly they have gone bust and the whole job is being passed on. Does anyone know what stage this job is at ?

yes i seen Rok going bust it was on the news yesterday and there are a couple of lads down road from me who work for Rok well used to not good eh mate

You can add Connaught to that list too - they're in liquidation.

Well, 979 ROK staff redundant so far, but the only link I can find for BAM says they're breaking even....

That's a bit different to being in liquidation!

They truly are a worldwide giant and that would have been incredibly bad news!

Just some info, not 100% gospel, so more digging to prove a point correct.
I'm currently working on a new schools academy in Maidstone in Kent.
The drylining company R&S that emplyed at least 100 guys onsite, plus background staff, went into administration on Tuesday this week, so aswell as ROK AND Pontins, they all have one thing in common...have a guess!
They all banked with RBS and who gave out millions in bonuses and payed many millions to pay off their previous director yeap RBS.
