Hi hope somebody can help.
I have currently just 1st fixed a very big house with over 200 led spots in it. Some rooms even have 4 gang switches 2 wayed. Also nearly every room has dimmable switches. Now on the original drawings the wiring shows conventional dimming. ie dimmer one end rocker the other. So due to how many spots/ switching I wired it feed to switch strappers to next switch and switch wire up from second switch or 2 plate as i call it. (neutrals around lights).
The client has now asked if its possible to dim from both ends. Looking into it I found master/ slave dimmers which you can do from both ends but the trouble I have is that all wiring diagrams show that the only way these can work is if you have 3 cores between the switches. ie 3 core strappers with live/ switch live from light. (3 plate).
Can anybody shed some light on this issue for me.
Thank you.
