Hi folks ,
I’ve been asked to take a look at a domestic heating problem , I’m hoping to get a bit of advice so I have half of an idea of what sort of issue i’m looking at ..
basically the guy has put in a maxi pod . Don’t know much about them other than it gets a permanent feed to the cylinder stat and it calls on the boiler to heat the water continuously.. the problem is that when the stove is lit , the maxi pod is still calling the boiler for heat , even when the stove is roasting hot .. at the minute the only way around this is to turn the cylinder stat way up and turn the pipe stat coming from the stove way down , any advice on how to remedy this ?
Again I haven’t had much of a look at it , just briefly when i was in doing other work .
Thanks in advance

Have you done anything with Maxipod's before?

Is it gravity fed from the stove or pumped (guessing pumped given pipe stat)

Been a while since I worked with one, I should have a wiring plan for them, I'll see if I can fish it out
Just asked the question and it is gravity fed . Although there was definitely a pipe stat when I had a brief look at it .
A wiring plan would be great if you could find it .
Thanks
