All I can see wrong is that the switch and socket need a good clean!

Bit hard to be sure , the pic's not that good,
but it looks like neutral is connected to ground
Blue wire on right side goes to black wire
which then appears to go to the green on left side.

So you have a neutral for the lighting connected to the earth on the socket and to the 2.5 earth!

Well the neutral is with a crossed earth to neutral on the next lighting circuit. So it was fused by what is in the picture. (see below) now it is on a 32a for sockets and 6a for the lighting with new cabling in. None of it trips...so far fingers crossed. Readings on socket circuit are around 10Mohm so okayish.

Below is a PV install in a garage using the garage CU to feed into the grid. Cant see any problems???

Might as well fit them a new shin CU whilst I'm there lol.
