My shed is only 5 Meters from my house, i will run a SWA cable from existing consumer unit to a shed consumer unit which will have 3 circuits for Sockets,Light and a 7.5Kw shower unit all i need to know is will a 16 Amp MCB be sufficient for the socket Radial circuit for 4 Double sockets

not really qualified though, is he? Part P (whatever that is) and 17th edition just proves you can pass a couple of multiple guess papers. Is doesn’t touch on circuit design, or testing.
Think the OP is out of his depth on this, I wouldn’t want to send my dog there.
17th edition exam proves nothing apart from you can read a book. Part p, although we don't have it where is probably just the same. Neither qualification makes your an electrician or even close to it.

I work for an M&E company and a good few of the lads on the mechanical side have asked whether they should get their 18th edition (17th at the time of them asking) to make them a bit more qualified incase they ever need to do minor electrical works.

Waste of time I tell them! The course and exam teaches you where to find things in book and not a lot more.

I don't think he's asking what size SWA he needs, he's asking what size OCPD he needs to protect the 6mm SWA that he already has knocking about and is hoping to "get away with" using.
