I have had exactly the same problem just this week...
I was asked to install a small RFC as an additional circuit on a TP Merlin board. I looked online for the cheapest Merlin MCB I could find, and ordered one. Next day order shows up, and what have they sent me... A Schneider one.
The only thing that appears different from the Merlin one is the logo, every other bit of writing is exactly the same, but I must admit, I'm beginning to worry given this latest stance re mixing and matching MCBs and the need to follow manufacturers instructions..
Cheers
No problem I was just trying to save a few quid, forked out for a MG one now.

No Problem!! ...Your Not mixing and Matching... Merlin Gerin is Schneider!!
JamesBrownLive,
Schneider have owned Merlin Gerin for many years now, about 5 years ago they began a re-branding exercise, this has now gone full tilt and all the "old" Schneider brands will disappear very shortly to become just Schneider.
So no more Merlin Gerin, no more Square D, no more Telemcanique, no more Tower, no more Clipsal, Mita, Sarel, Thorsman, and many others, they will all become Schneider.
Schneider own Merlin Gerin. They are re-branding all there different companies to have the Schneider banner.
Errrr!! ....Isn't that what i stated then??
