Mechanical Protection for Tails between Meter Cupboards on outside wall

Hello, what products are people using for suitable mechanical protection in compliance with regs for the following job?

Existing Meter Cupboard recessed into outside wall adjacent to driveway on a domestic property with incoming Mains Supply, Meter and Tails.
Requirement to add an additional surface mounted GRP meter cupboard adjacent to the existing one to accommodate a second Consumer Unit. Meter Tails will be taken from Henley Blocks inside the existing Meter Cupboard, routed down through the bottom, horizontally along the wall and up into the bottom of a second meter cupboard.

I have seen waste pipe used in this situation in the past. What products do you use?

I'd use conduit personally

Something like this is "correct" to use in that it meets the appropriate certification for electrical use:

I have not checked that 32mm is sufficient for tails & earth but you can check that, but I doubt anything smaller would do. Note the 32mm is the outside, so inside for cable is around 27mm.

The only time I've had to route tails between two meter boxes, I used 50mm galv conduit. I had more than just 1 set of tails to route, hence the larger size.
