I've fitted a couple of in-line fans in an office refurb which are for a toilet and a shower just like I have done many times in the past over the years. Because of the extensive refurb/alterations that have gone on there is a building inspector overseeing it and he has sent this to the main contractor as one of the outstanding issues.

Whats all that about then, it says ventialltion system but that to me is a massive load of ducts running up and down a big new skyscraper like John McClain crawled through, not a couple of fans and a bit of flexi pipe. Has anyone else come across this?

Yes, I'm aware of it. More bureaucratic nonsense so that 'they' can get yet another meaningless signature to file away. I did see an article on how to conduct the test, but immediately dismissed it from my mind because it's so ridiculous.
Glad I only work for myself now, and don't get involved with such things.
I don't know if there's any "qualifications" needed to fill in the form, but I'd be tempted to find out what plausible figures are and just fill them in. No one actually cares and no one will ever actually look at them.
