Hi i have a Megger 1730 and need to open it up to replace an internal fuse.

first, after removing the battery pack, carefully (using a stanley blade) ease up a corner of the front label, then peel off label. under the label you'll find 4 fixing screws. remove these and ease off the front panel.unplug the ribbon cable and take front panel out of the way. don't lose the gasket. then the main halves of the casing ( again 4 screws) can be parted. the sockets panel for your test leads willl be a bit "sticky". when refixing the label, if it does not stick well,use a smear of pritt stck. don't use any form of permanent adhesive in case a future strip down is needed.
There's a lid on the back marked battery cover, with two screws. Unscrew the screws, remove the lid, et voila two fuses revealed. Have you actually got a 1730Hi i have a Megger 1730 and need to open it up to replace an internal fuse.
