Megger or fluke | on ElectriciansForums

Discuss Megger or fluke in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

Ive got a 1730, been off to repair 3 times now. and this time it needs a new PCB at £300 and every time it goes in to repair they have it for 4+ weeks !!!! brought 5 KT63's for the lads at work and have had no problems at all with them.
Got 2 flukes here that have lead problems. dry joint/ high res where leads plug in, have to pull them apart and sweat up the plugs on the PCB!

Megger for me all day long although some leads can interchange with fluke on the megger range better to invest in a decent tester though,
Like all things you get what you pay for

FLUKE for me I have to use calibrated testgear at work and my 3 meters have never been out of cal (175,789,714) .yes I've had
to replace leads but thats to be expected its the meter that counts
