Chris Kitcher has been in touch over the weekend and he is sending me his latest book before it is released. He can only send one copy out at the moment but he will try his best to send another one for a prize for the TS  (top bloke, really nice talking to him, fantastic attitude and very jolly).

Lads, how about we give him some feedback on his new book? He would like for us to have a read of it and give him any positive or negative reports. PM me your findings and I'll collaborate everything together and send our findings via an e-mail.

Any Mentors interested in doing this just post up or send me a PM. After reading it I'll post it out to you. The next man (after reading it), will then sort out who gets it next etc etc etc. After we are done, it will be a prize for the TS.

Pete your the first to post up so you get it first after me. PM your address mate.

I'll have a read over it Paul.

I've given his books to a few of my apprentices over the years.

Rob, sort it out with Pete for the book, he posted up first

Any Mentor can post up their reviews of it in the TS, that is fine. Or via PM to me, up to you.

Book almost delivered, I was at work! Picking it up from Royal mail depot in the morning on the way to a job. Pete I'll post out to you at the end of the week.

Picked it up this morning. Sorry Pete but I may have to have it for a week and not just a few days. After a quick flick through, it is a good book. OK there is a few errors in the typing, eg page 166 on Nominal Voltage that I've taken the mick via text to Chris. He has a good sense of humor

There is a section that shows photographs of fuses, fused isolators, MCB's & RCD's with BS numbers and their operating values. I may just use this for a new thread in the TS, very informative to Trainees as well as Useful information to Mentors.

Chris Kitcher has been really nice to to the Trainee Section and he has access to this section of the forum (btw). If/when he pops up in the TS, please give him the respect he deserves. Published quite a few books (under statement), posted up a lot of YouTube video's on testing and inspection. I'll say this with hand on heart...... I'm a better Electrician because of his books in college and then his YouTube Video's whilst working in the field. Every Trainee should watch his YouTube video's.

PS.... Cheers Chris. Owe you a pint

Mentors I need to state this:- Chris has trusted me with a copy of his new book before releasing it. Only 6 copies have been sent out, we have one of them before next months release date. Please do not post up any pictures/text or any comments on any form of internet medium until the book is released. Say what you want in the TS (closed and secured section),,, we can say what we want in here.

Paul do you know this is the trainees bit and not the mentors? Sorry just seems to me like your posts points to mentors but this is in TS

We don't have a private mentors section, we only allow respected members access to the trainee section so if we aim a post at mentors then it is viewable by the trainees too.
