Menvier Fire Alarm

Hi All,
Have an old menvier fire alarm which has a detector fault. I know I can't buy a new head now as thy are obsolete. Means I need to install a replacement head and base.
Question is, do I have to replace this with the new/current replacement that menvier offer or can I install a different make

You could use either menviers new 5 in 1 detector or Apollo 65 detector, you will need to split the negative terminals on both of these to allow fault removal to work properly

Apollo S65 detectors do not have a polarity, and will work on Menvier by using L1 in & out on the negative side in reverse, or by turning diode around. So L2 is wired positive and L1 in out is wired negative.

Thanks, What wholesaler do you use to purchase your Apollo materials from. Job is over an hours drive each way and just found out I am there in morning. Be useful to know where the nearest stockist are in if needed.
