What do you guys pay for these. Bought a couple from my wholesalers today. Thought price was very, very high...

not bought any for a while but i do remember being a little shocked when the invoice came through tbh. what did you pay ?

8 quid including vat and that's trade. It's socket facia and backbox included is that what you get for ÂŁ4.50? Screwfix are advertiseing for ÂŁ4 but not sure if it's Just the facia. Pretty annoyed if they have charged me double for a cheap CED one. They'll have lost my custom

toolstation were about the cheapest I found, but for some reason when I did my continuity check they were high with a socket tester. Tested fine when I removed the front, and looked ok but I guess you get what you pay for.

Toolstation for about 4.50, but they're made by CED and the white sockets and switched from them are rubbish, so don't know if this is the same with the metal clad or not.

Got some the other weel from CEF for 4.65 each, these were Selectric branded.

Had exactly the same problem with those. As much as 1 ohm difference between readings directly from the terminals and those taken, using a socket tester.

Also saw considerable difference side to side - which makes no sense at all!!

Thought it was just me - but maybe not!

I don't think it will work with only one stake unless some meters have different operating parameters. It doesn't necessarily have to be a stake...
