I don’t work on many new builds and the builders I usually work for don’t use them, so this is the first time I’ve come across posi joists at work.

I suspect I know the answer as to what usually happens here when running cables - ie they’re just lashed in ‘bow and arrow’ style, but does anyone have any ideas on how to keep cable runs tidy and compliant.

Realistically I’m not going to be putting tray/basket or anything like that in so I can’t see any real option other than cable ties to the metal webs - bit worried about sharp edges or just laying the cables on the bottom timber - think this is only around 50mm thick - id rather have the cables in the middle of the joists height wise. They’ll probably end up sagging onto the plasterboard between joists.

The only method I’ve seen is either cable tied to the sides of the web or ran in plastic conduit .
